About Me

I'm a San Franciscan who is currently wandering the world and eating, taking photos and writing (when I find something really special to write about).

My husband passed away in 2013 and I decided that was no reason to stop traveling.  I semi-retired from a job as a hotel concierge and traveled for 5 months.  I enjoyed it so much, I looked for a way to not have to come home.

And in 2017, after months of clearing out my condo and moving as much of my life on-line as I could, I launched myself into the world and haven't looked back.  It's been great, and I've had some amazing experiences, and hope to have many more.

The 2020 COVID-19 crisis has me "sheltering-in-place" in London, but is giving me time to catch up on posting photos and updating the website.
